Age for admission to junior kindergarten is four years old by September 1st.
Age admission for kindergarten is five years old by September 1st.
New registrants must present the following:
• State of California Certificate of Immunization available from the Department of Health and/or doctor's office,
• Certificate of birth
• Child's social security number
Complete the Application form and return to the school registrar. Assessment fee ($50) and registration fee ($100) are due with application. (Registration fee is reimbursable if assessment shows the student would not be successful with the Tabernacle School Program.)
Required forms to be turned in with the application:
A. Statement of Cooperation for Parents or Guardians
B. Request for School Records (Grades 1st – 8th)
C. Copies of report card and recent Standardized Test (Grades 1st – 8th)
Interview and Student Assessment will be scheduled upon completion of Step 1.
Student completes the school assessment and interview takes place.
- Kindergarten students will be assessed for developmental placement.
- 1st – 8th students will be assessed to discern student grade level placement.
A personal interview with an administrator will take place during the assessment. A student’s admission and placement will be completed by the administrator based on the following factors:
A. Parental agreement with the school’s curriculum, educational style, and
affirmation of the parent/school partnership philosophy
B. Grade level readiness
C. Former school records and an acceptable history of conduct
D. Student attitude toward enrollment at Tabernacle School
If enrollment into the school is extended, the following is required for school enrollment:
A. Complete the form for Report of Health Examination.
B. Provide a copy of the child’s immunization record.
C. Provide a copy of the child’s birth certificate.
D. Provide a check of $325 for the consumable fee.
